Seniors 55+ are invited to display their art.
To display your artwork, fill out the application information below and submit before March 5, 2019.
Return by email to info@cpae.org, or by mail to College Park Arts Exchange, PO Box 784, College Park MD 20741.

Artists are invited to show their work on a first-come basis (not juried). Two or three-dimensional work, including paintings, photographs, pottery and sculpture, textiles, needle and fabric art, will all be accepted. Artists are asked to reserve an easel or table space for their display; table top easels and standing floor easels will be acquired as needed. The Art Exhibit will bring Seniors together to celebrate their arts and to build a more robust and lively community in College Park.


To register, return this information to CPAE:

  1. NAME, ADDRESS, DATE OF BIRTH
  2. State the number of pieces would you like to show. Please remember that this is a group show and space may be limited.
  3. Please let us know which display format you prefer: One standing easel OR table space with up to three table top easels are available for each participant on a first come, first serve basis.
    Standing easel (limit one)

    If you would like to make a small donation to CPAE toward the cost of the easels, or if you have easels to share, please let us know.

  4. What type of art will you display: painting, photography, pottery or sculpture, textiles, needle and fabric art, or other?
  5. Please list the title(s) of your art pieces (if applicable):
  6. If you wish to include an artist’s philosophical statement, include it here.
  7. Is your work fragile? Please note: College Park Arts Exchange will take care with your art, but will not guarantee its safety against possible accident.

Please note: You MUST bring in your work on the show date between 1 – 3 pm, to be set up for display. You may drop off and load in your artwork at that time. There are places to drop off behind the student center and along the side.

Parking: Free parking available from 4 pm – 12 am at MOWATT LANE PARKING GARAGE (UM) across from the Catholic Student Center (CSC). Follow the visitor signs to enter the garage. PARK IN SPACES MARKED LOT U2 on LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 ONLY. DO NOT PARK IN LOT 19 or you will be ticketed. READ SIGNS CAREFULLY. Look for the U2 signs painted on the side walls of designated sections of Levels 1 and 2.

There is limited Disability access and parking available behind the CSC – please request in advance.
