Sarah Winston has been a music educator and conductor of all ages for over two decades. Currently she teaches for Prince George’s County Schools in College Park and Beltsville and maintains a private clarinet studio out of her home. During Sarah’s graduate studies at American University, she founded and conducted the AU Wind Ensemble, and as part of her dissertation at Shenandoah University, Winston created the “Grand Band” (an inter-generational band for elementary students and mature adults) at Holton-Arms in Bethesda. Sarah also is a frequent guest conductor of Senza Nome, a women’s chorale in Virginia.
