Andrew Brown had his first guitar lessons at Roosevelt HS, studied double bass at Catholic University and in Vienna, Austria. He made his living as a performer for years before settling down to teaching and family life in the College Park area in 2008. Besides his regular gig as bassist with Brulee (bandbrulee.com) he performs as a singer-songwriter at various venues, performing mostly on instruments he built (awbmusic.com). He is often joined by his wife, Beth Allgood, who has sung with skill and passion her whole life.
