Kids’ songs and poems can be serious or silly and everything in between. Through a combination of exercises and fun discussion, we’ll generate ideas, draft and revise lyrics and poems, experiment with different forms, and learn strategies to revise with joy instead of dread. We’ll also explore different ways of sharing our creative work with family, friends, and the wider world. Participants do not need to play an instrument or have any knowledge of music theory. Especially great for parents, grandparents, librarians, and educators.
Fee: $40
