Concert: The Three Queens and Court - CANCELLED

The three queens of song, Briar, Yaya, and Sara, will embark together on a storytelling adventure. Historically, the songstresses are solo artists who have displayed their individual talents in jazz, old-time, and blues. Their collaborative set will include vibrant harmonies, fresh takes on folk songs, arranged play-time chants, and original music. In conjunction with The Artist Role, an initiative of Urban Artistry, the queens will aim to challenge the audience, as well as themselves, on the creative’s responsibility to delve into narratives of everyday people.
