This is for homeschool families with children aged 3-12. We will meet from 12-3pm every Wednesday at the Old Parish House. There are classes from 12-1 (Fiber Arts) and 2-3 (Visual arts: painting, drawing, collage, etc.), with an hour in between (1-2) for lunch, play, and community-building circle time. Everyone pitches in to clean up. Afterwards we can walk a few blocks to a playground to keep playing if we like.
There is a fee of $20 for the first child in a family, and $10 for each additional child, to cover general supplies and administrative costs. This is not a drop-off program. All participants (parents and children) are expected to help with setup and cleaning, so we need everyone to commit to staying for cleanup time. Parents are also expected to help with other Club tasks as they arise. And everyone is expected to act respectfully and responsibly so we can have a peaceful, caring community.
Siblings not in the classes are welcome to hang out at the Parish House. We will bring some toys and games for siblings to use during classes and for everyone to use during breaks.
