CPAE Community Concert

Join CPAE performing groups for a fun joint concert, and bring a canned good and/or donation for CPAE. Food pantry donations go to the College Park Food Bank at the Church of the Nazarene.

The College Park Chorale will premiere The Music of Driftwood, a poem by Reed Whittemore set to music by Gabriel Ruiz-Bernal (see https://www.gabrielruizbernal.com/current-project.html for more information), and will also sing the Humming Chorus from Madam Butterfly by Puccini. The Chamber Choir will perform Glow by Eric Whitacre, and the Women’s Choir will sing Missa Brevis by Ramona Luengen.

The College Park Youth Orchestra Chamber Ensemble will perform Crowdambo by Jeremy Cohen and a Christmas Medley featuring four well-known holiday tunes.

College Park Youth Music Traditions will do three tunes: Christmas Time’s a Comin’, Happy Joyous Hannukah and Little Drummer Boy.
