Northwestern High School View mapCollege Park Arts Exchange Concert at Northwestern High School, featuring CPAE performance groups.
The CPYB will be performing toe tapping tunes from composers both new and old. Opening our concert will be When the Saints Go Marching In arranged by John O’Reilly and Mark Williams, then we willdabbling in some dancing with The Turkish March of Beethoven, and getting our groove on with Soul Rock by Dale Lauder.
For the Chorale portion we will sing Lacrimosa from the Mozart Requiem and Wie Lieblich from the Brahms Requiem with the Chamber Orchestra, and two short acapella Shaped Note pieces to contrast that. Chamber Choir will perform a classical acapella piece called Beati Quorum Via by Stanford and a modern choral piece with piano called O Love by Hagenberg.
