Try Tai Chi in the New Year!
Happy New Year from College Park Arts Exchange! The New Year is the perfect time to adopt new creative habits. If you are looking to add more movement into your daily life, College Park Arts Exchange offers a variety of movement opportunities. Featured in today’s blog is our weekly Tai Chi class, which is offered at the Old Parish House every Wednesday from 10 – 11 am by teachers Mark Grisar and Maureen Stone. Tai chi is a slow, gentle, and controlled movement practice, which can improve balance, health, coordination, and mental wellbeing through meditative movement. The video below shows teachers Mark and Maureen leading our class through the first sequence of their Tai Chi form.
